We started our herd in 1980 with two cows imported from the United States.
From this cow families, we have till today arrived at 7-8 generations of VG or EX.
We have nearly sold 300 bulls to A.I.Stud all around the world.

Aquila cows have sent embryos to U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zeland, South Africa, Japan, Sweden and to all the European countries.

During the last 20 years we have always reached the first 3 positions as the best herd in Italy for index, Total Economic index (I.L.Q.M.: based on protein and type; and PFT: based protein, functionality and type) and Protein Kilograms.

In the last years we have always been at the top.

Aquila Holstein is the BEST FARM IN ITALY FOR GOLD MEDAL with 18 cows GMD and one bull GM (Aquila Mascot Dreamer).
We have about 40 cows that are in the top 1% of the breed for index.

We breed in order to have big and strong cows with deep open ribs, good udder and strong feet and legs. We are convinced that with these features, our cows can give a lot of milk and protein and live longer.
